The first trade of the 2009 RMFFL Season has taken place between the Impact Players and Hirsch's Hitmen. The deal breaks down like this:
To Hirsch's Hitmen:
Kevin Smith (RB, Detroit Lions)
Darren McFadden (RB, Oakland Raiders)
Santonio Holmes (WR, Pittsburgh Steelers)
To Impact Players:
Torry Holt (WR, Jacksonville Jaguars)
This is a massive 3-for-1 swap that sees the Impact Players get the WR it has coveted for years in Torry Holt. This was a huge coup for Hirsch's Hitmen as they acquire 3 potential superstars. This might be the best move that Hirsch's Hitmen have ever made. I hate to say it, but might this trade be the turning point in what has so far been a disappointing 4-year run for Hirsch's Hitmen? Only time will tell.
